Teals

Teals is a new destination on the A303 - a fantastic place to eat, shop and discover local food and drink in Somerset. The food market is part deli, part health store, part snackstop and offers as much local as possible - you’ll find everything here from cupboard staples (where you can refill your own containers with inexpensive oats, mueslis, car snacks, nuts and rices) to an array of jams and local honeys, delicious granolas and Somerset cereals. There are oils, sauces and rubs; pasta, flour and eggs; juices and cordials and plenty of choice for vegans. You'll also find tasty and seasonal fresh produce, a deli counter offering local cheeses, pastries and salads, a butcher's counter and a bottle store. The restaurant is light, airy and relaxed, with views out over the apple orchard and across the courtyard. Talented and creative cooks have free reign to work with the seasons, developing food that connects to the region and satisfies more than just your appetite. They work closely with the butchery and food market, making the most of what comes through their doors. There are takeaway options available too, with freshly made sandwiches, soups and salads from the deli counter, as well as a great selection of cakes and proper Barista made coffee.
