The New Inn, Cerne Abbas

This beautiful 16th century former coaching inn is an iconic building located in the heart of Cerne Abbas, Dorchester. New life has been breathed into the property by Jeremy and Vanessa Lee, who, after trading to critical acclaim for three years, closed the pub in 2011 for a top-to-toe refurbishment. The New Inn is unashamedly all about really good food and drink. They are not aiming to reinvent the wheel, just cook and serve the best seasonal local produce that the area is blessed with. The wine list is by no means exhaustive but has been compiled with the expert help of Mark Banham from Palmers wine store in Bridport. Three local Palmers Brewery cask ales are always available and in tip top condition along with two local ciders.
