The Marquis of Lorne

The Marquis of Lorne is a 16th century country pub & inn, nestled in the beautiful hills of Nettlecombe, Dorset. We're sure that you'll enjoy your stay with us, whether it be for a holiday, short break, a meal in our restaurant or just a quick pint! We have 7 en-suite non-smoking rooms, offering double, twin & single occupancy, with the option of extra beds to accommodate families. Our fine restaurant offers freshly cooked, locally sourced lunches & dinners that are complimented by a wide range of local Palmers Brewery's real ales and Somerset Thatcher's ciders. All ingredients are - where possible - sourced locally from our friends & produced in our kitchen. Our poly tunnel is now up and running so we look forward to offering an abundance of produce in the coming seasons.
