The Harbour Inn

The Harbour is a beautiful inn surrounded by countryside in the pretty estuary village of Axmouth. Grade II listed and full of charm, history abounds and the huge 12th century fireplace still sits proudly at the heart of this community focussed pub.

Shaun Cassidy leads an ambitious team well versed in hospitality. A Michelin-trained chef by trade, Shaun is a strong believer in the important role played by the great British pub within a community and an advocate for providing real value for money in challenging times.

East Devon born and bred, an extensive career in cooking professionally across the South West has now developed into an exciting new chapter. After a successful twelve month spell renovating and relaunching the Old Inn at Kilmington, the opportunity arose in 2022 to take over and run his dream property in nearby Axmouth.

Underpinned by great service from Stuart, Christie and Spencer, the aim is to grow the Harbour into one of Devon’s best loved pubs.
