Inspired by the vibrant Australian brunch culture, The Early Bird was hatched in 2019 by us - the Stander Family - with the vision to create a hub where people of all ages can enjoy something we all love… brunch. At The Early Bird, we serve all-day bright, wholesome, healthy and filling brekkies that we all love to eat. Our food is fresh and simple with influences from Sydney and Melbourne café culture. Whether it’s smashed avo or a stack of pancakes, we aim to bring some sunshine to your plate!
We believe a good strong coffee comes hand in hand with brunch and are proud to serve speciality coffee by our favourite independent roastery, Clifton Coffee Roasters.
Located underneath The Early Bird is the Artisan bakery. We are passionate about producing ‘real bread’ to enhance our meals & for our customers to take home. We make our dishes come to life using our own bread with real quality ingredients as well as our popular brownies, yeast-risen doughnuts, cinnamon buns & pastries.
The bakers use traditional methods and simple, honest ingredients without the use of any so-called ‘processing aids’ or artificial additives to create ‘real’ hand-shaped bread. Our bakers are passionate about making good quality, honest bread that looks and tastes delicious!
