The Cobb Arms
Set across the street from Lyme Regis’ world-famous harbour and Cobb, our vintage style family run pub with rooms was built in 1938 by Bridport based Palmers Brewery who were founded in 1794. The land the pub stands on used to belong to the Lyme Regis boat builders and was bought by Palmers in the 1930s.
The Cobb Arms is now a main part of Lyme’s local community. Serving local fish dishes and beers, it’s a minute’s walk from Sandy beach and 0.5 miles from Dinosaur Land Fossil Museum making it a great stay for fossil hunting. Whether you sit inside in one of our cosy restaurant bar areas, or take your meal on our verandah overlooking Lyme Regis harbour you'll love the atmosphere at The Cobb Arms. We have three luxury en-suite rooms to choose from with all that Lyme Regis has to offer on the doorstep, from sandy beaches and the iconic Cobb, to the Marine Theatre and local independent shops.
