Apple Natural

In 2016 we planted our orchard with Cornish heritage Apple varieties, a range of different shapes, colours and flavours that celebrate our apple history. We now have 200 fruit trees, apple, cherry, pear, plum, quince and medlar.  Our idea was to turn our harvest into a range of snacks for adults and children that would promote healthy eating with just naturally occurring sugar, nothing added and using only Cornish food miles.  We worked on developing a range of apple fruit leathers using organic apples and Apple Shreds, our first product, were created.  Apple Shreds are an ‘on the go’ snack handmade from traditional organic apples, with no added sugar or preservatives, available in a range of flavours. Created at a low temperature to retain the natural goodness and fibre. All we take out are the pips. Great in salads, or with cheese. Only Cornish food miles go into the making of our products. Hand in hand with nature. ​Cornwall is a global force in the food and drink industry with a fantastic local food culture and we as an artisan food producer are fortunate to be part of that.
