The Anchor Inn
We are located right by the beach with outside terraces and cliff seating providing the best position to come and enjoy the tranquility and views of the beautiful West Dorset Jurassic Coast. The pub has two bars, is open all year round and is oozing with charm and character. We serve a varied menu of home-cooked food both at lunchtimes and evenings and have an excellent selection of Palmers Brewery ales, beers, wines and spirits. Our menu is inspired by traditional pub food using the best local produce from the best local suppliers. Our fish comes from Samways and Davy's Locker in Bridport; our meat from the oldest butcher in the country, R J Balson; and our vegetables and salads from Cains Farm in Chideock and Graingers in Dorchester. We pride ourselves in serving restaurant quality food in a very relaxed, informal atmosphere.
