Ashburton Food Festival returns this year with a renewed focus on community engagement and local produce. Founded in 2011, originally co-run by Ashburton Cookery School and subsequently managed by Born Hectic Events, renowned for their involvement with the Glastonbury Festival, the festival has now been entrusted to a local community group spearheaded by Dee Kilkelly.
Dee says “This year we want to refocus the festival around the local community. We'll be adding in workshops and discussions around health, food production, and sustainability. We'll also have music, entertainment for kids, and social spaces so that everyone can soak up some famous Ashburton hospitality. The festival will have a new lease of energy, and we hope that it is better than ever.”

Accessibility and Convenience
